The Olympic Park’s Place des Vainqueurs, renamed “Nadia-Comaneci Square” in 2017 in honour of the Romanian athlete’s exploits during the 1976 games, had many important elements revitalized.
The construction of the new Théâtre du Marais is an opportunity to guarantee that the Val-Morin community will have access to cultural events in the future. The new theatre’s design echoes the old building, located on the opposite shore of the Rivière du Nord.
The “Le Triangle” park project consists of a new 8,600 m2 park housing an arboretum, exterior bleachers, and a public square with eye-catching fountains.
The project involves adding a roof and equipment to make the use of the outdoor stage at André-J.-Côté Park permanent. The proposal is characterized by a light, open, and minimalist intervention on the ground.
The project is part of an effort to restore and enhance the heritage character of the Brunning House and the former Town Council Hall. These converted spaces now house functions for visual arts, sculpture, and the Lasalle Historical Society.
The client wanted a new clinic that was attractive, visible, and easily accessible. To achieve the client’s goal of creating an inviting space, Cardin Julien developed an implementation strategy tailored to the specific site and redesigned the property’s exterior envelope.
