Mile-End Desjardins Service Centre
Nestled in the heart of the Mile End, a dynamic and ever-evolving neighbourhood, this project aimed to refresh the existing Desjardins Service Center’s vision to make it more friendly and accessible. To achieve this goal, the old space was renovated in its entirety.
Côte-des-Neiges Service Centre Desjardins
The Caisse Desjardins Côte-des-Neiges chose to relocate its service centre to a rented space on Queen-Mary, near the University of Montreal. Cardin Julien was mandated to spearhead the interior design based on Desjardins’ new criteria regarding the relationship between spaces (customer journey). They also needed to incorporate finishes designed for a young and dynamic clientele.
Dunlop Residence
Such involved collaboration with the client allowed for an in-depth design process, especially when it came to energy efficiency, custom-made storage integration, and replacing finishes and light fixtures.
Olympic Park coffee shop
Formerly known as the Montreal Expos boutique, this socially-oriented café is part of the Olympic Park’s revitalization project.The space was redone for park visitors and the surrounding community to enjoy, and the project itself was organized by a co-op.
Mentana Residence
This project consisted of a duplex being converted into a single-family home on two floors. The original building was laid out like a classic Montreal duplex, with natural light entering the space exclusively via the front and back facades, and a central hallway leading to various rooms on either side.
